Met Police Unit Regional Crime Squad No.9 (RCSIX)
Welcome to RCSIX No.9, the Metropolitan Police’s very own elite squad of suspicious minds, based within SO11 at New Scotland Yard.
This was not your average detective unit. Oh no. This was a specialist team made up of a glorious mix of Met detectives and regional detectives from surrounding forces, brought together for one purpose:
to hunt serious criminals… and occasionally each other’s missing paperwork.
Think of it as a United Nations of Detectives, except with more tea, more sarcasm, and at least one person permanently “on enquiries” somewhere near the canteen.
This artwork is packed with classic CID symbolism: the tie, the notebook, the camera, the evidence, the whisky, the late nights, and that unmistakable feeling that somebody, somewhere, is definitely lying.
A perfect piece for anyone who served, worked alongside the Yard, or simply appreciates the unique breed of detective who can solve a case while simultaneously losing their pen, their hat, and their faith in humanity.
