“The 2025 Carabao Cup Toon Bus – Silverware at Last!”
Created by The Toon Army Artist
After what felt like several lifetimes, three relegations, seventeen near-misses and a suspicious number of broken pint glasses, Newcastle United finally did it… they brought silverware back home.
Enter the open-top Toon Bus, rolling proudly through the streets of Newcastle, loaded with heroes, trophies, scarves, and enough grins to power the Tyne Bridge for a week. On board are the lads themselves – re-imagined by yours truly in full caricature glory – waving, cheering, and trying very hard not to drop the Carabao Cup over the side.
Front and centre hangs the legendary banner: “Wor Eddie 2025” – because when Eddie Howe delivers a trophy, he’s officially family.
And keeping an eye on proceedings? None other than honorary Geordie royalty Ant & Dec – subtly represented by the famous black-and-white deck chair… and a rather large Ant, just in case anyone missed the reference.
Thousands line the streets, scarves in the air, voices gone hoarse, cameras shaking – a city celebrating its first cup in a very long time, and loving every second of it.
This is not just a parade.
This is history on wheels.
This is Newcastle, finally getting what it’s waited decades for.
